The Iona College Campus Quad

Andrew Grascia ’06MS

Andrew’s Iona graduate experience changed his future. He met and learned from students as well as faculty about parts of the criminal justice world that so few really get to see. The criminal justice faculty at Iona College pushed him to think outside the box about the complex issues facing society today. He began his career as police office with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department in New York City. He would later move on to become a senior criminal investigator, with the Westchester County district attorney’s office, working on extremely complex investigations such as human trafficking, computer intrusion investigations, financial crimes investigations and homicide investigations. He then would become a members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in New York State trying to protect the most vulnerable. Recently, Andrew became involved with Iona again by joining the faculty. Helping Iona College teach the next generation dedicated to serving the public is a dream come true for him. Iona gave him the tools to succeed and now he would like to give back to the Alumni Association his years of experience to help Iona continue to grow.
