The Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to announce our new partnership with an experienced Career Coach, Annette McLaughlin to assist you in your career development. We encourage alumni to remain connected to the College by offering career development, career transition and job search services to assist you in your career. Whether you are considering a career change, unemployed or interested in developing your career options we encourage you to schedule an individual appointment.
Appointments are available for alumni seeking assistance in career development, career transition and job search methods on the second Thursday of each month from 11:30 am-7:30 pm. Alumni can meet in person or via teleconference with Annette up to three appointments per school calendar year. Please call 914-633-2390 or email alumni@iona.edu to schedule an appointment.

A scheduled coaching session is a business appointment. In the event that your schedule changes and you are unable to make your appointment, please contact 914-633-2390 at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. This is a professional courtesy, offering other alumni the opportunity to meet with a career coach.
Alumni Career Coach, Annette McLaughlin, will provide career services specifically designed for alumni. With over 25 years of experience working with job seekers and corporations she is well prepared to assist with the alumni. Annette McLaughlin is an
experienced career coach and higher education consultant.
Most recently she created Career Advisors the
Outplacement and Coaching Division for The Response Company a
recruiting
and advisory services firm specializing in the areas of Accounting &
Finance, Banking & Mortgage Banking, Health Care, Legal, Marketing, Wall
Street, Securities Compliance, & Information Technology.
She is a graduate of the
University of North Carolina and holds an MBA in Personnel and Employee
Relations from Georgia State University. She has over 20 years of experience
working with job seekers providing coaching, networking, education, assessment,
job search, and career advice. Since 2008 she has been working with university
and students and alumni to assist with career development, job search methods
and career transitions. She has worked in the fields of human capital
consulting, financial services, legal, real estate and asset management, recruitment,
project management, employee relations, training, process redesign, business
development and management.
Prior to joining Response, Ms.
McLaughlin worked for an international recruiting company for more than eight
years and held several positions including Director of Global Accounts for the
Legal Division and Partnership Director for the company's On-Premise at Goldman
Sachs. Her international experience includes business development in Japan and
conducting seminars for Japanese executives for Oak & Associates, a leading
executive search firm in Japan.
